The house is amazing, very private and even more beautiful than in the pictures! The pool with lounges set was a great way to spend our holiday. In the area there a lot of champagne houses to visit and the Lombardi champagne was also really delicious! Would definitely recommend this accommodation for a holiday in the champagne area.

Amazing home with a beautiful French feel. The pool is stunning and perfect fun for family time. The street has numerous champagne tasting locations which is fun to do. The town is very quiet but beautiful and short drives out to the vines. We loved our holiday here!

Perfect spot for a view of the French countryside. The hosts are incredible and helped us tremendously. My kids loved the pool. You have an entire compound to yourself. Very relaxing.

Carol and Stephane’s place is a superbly appointed property, very stylish and comfortable for the four people in our party - each bedroom having its own bathroom facilities. The villa is very private, but easily accessible and is within walking/cycling distance of the small supermarket and Boulangerie meaning it’s very convenient if you like to cook. There are also some good takeout options with the local pizzeria which we used a few times and also the very good cafe down the road that changes menu every day. It’s the perfect place to come and relax, read a book, go for a walk and wind down around the fantastic pool - it’s quite rural so don’t go expecting a vibrant night life! Drink superb champagne (Stephane does a very interesting tasting session of his own champagne at the property), eat cheese and forget about the world for a while! Locally Troyes and Essoyes are well worth a visit if you are art enthusiasts.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end dans la maison de Stephane. Le lieu est sublime, très bien entretenu, chaleureux & accueillant. Des petites attentions nous attendaient à notre arrivée, tout est pensé dans les moindre détails.Une literie très confortable, ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas, un logement très bien équipé et une très bonne disponibilité de la part des hôtes. Toujours réactifs aux échanges, avec beaucoup de gentillesse et très arrangeants.Nous recommandons vivement et ne manquerons pas de renouveler notre séjour :)

Carol and Stephane are truly the consummate hosts. The villa is exquisite in every way. We ended our grand adventure in France there and left with memories we’ll never forget. Thank you to you both for all the help and support you gave us.

Heerlijk huis met zwembad in de champagne. 😀 - Het huis is praktisch, ruim en heeft alle comfort. Er is een heerlijk zwembad. De restaurants in de buurt waren grotendeels gesloten omwille van de wijnoogst. Gelukkig was er in de chai een frigo met ingemaakte gerechten. En lekkere champagne! 😞 - Weinig goede restaurants in de buurt, de meeste gesloten.

Vom 05.bis zum 10. September 2023 waren wir jetzt wieder und zum vierten Mal in der Villa Lombardi. Durch das traumhaft schöne Schwimmbad und die neu installierten Klimageräte hat das zauberhafte Haus noch an Charme gewonnen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich durch Carol und Stephane begrüßt, der Service war wie immer perfekt durch Jean Michel und Valerie. Wir haben das Haus, die Champagne und den Champagner sehr genossen und werden wiederkommen!

Prachtige woning, airco en zwembad waren een meerwaarde in het warme weer, een aanrader voor wie luxe en rust wil.

Intérieur comme extérieur sont aménagés et décorés avec goût et la jolie piscine est un réel plus. Tout a été parfait durant notre séjour et avons eu d'excellents contacts avec les propriétaires :)

Heerlijk huis, van alle luxe en gemakken voorzien en met een verwarmd privé zwembad. We hebben genoten van deze plek en het mooie historische dorp (eigenlijk 3 dorpen aan elkaar) met veel grote champagne-huizen. Bakker en kleine supermarkt zijn op loopafstand. Troyes en Dijon zijn kleine steden die zeer de moeite van een bezoek waard zijn. Communicatie met Carol en Stephane verliep vlekkeloos. Een absolute aanrader!

This has been such a special stay for our family, one we will certainly return to. From arrival with Champagne tasting & charcuterie boards to everything just being perfect and immaculate, we can highly recommend ❤️. The villa has everything you need and more. And the village is just the most beautiful quaint place I have seen. Hosts are there to help with anything and everything. Just truly PERFECT.

Superb 😀 - This really is a beautiful villa. Very well equipped, clean and with great facilities. The onsite pool is wonderful. The hosts have thought of everything to keep families entertained, there are games to play both indoors and outside. There is plenty of outdoor space for families. Les Riceys is a beautiful, authentic French village. It's very quiet, but there are a couple of restaurants. Keep an eye out for opening times and make a booking in advance as they were fully booked during our stay due to a champagne festival. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the villa and would stay again.

J'ai récemment séjourné dans ce logement Airbnb et je suis ravie de partager mon expérience incroyable. Les hôtes étaient très accessibles et ont rendu notre séjour idéal . Dès notre arrivée et comme demandé, nous trouvions au frais champagne et planches apéro, de quoi passer une excellente soirée! Le logement était parfait, avec des équipements de grande qualité. La piscine chauffée était un délice. Tout était d'une propreté impeccable et l'emplacement alliait tranquillité et proximité des attractions locales. Je recommande vivement ce logement pour une expérience de luxe et d'excellence. Merci aux hôtes pour leur hospitalité exceptionnelle.

We stayed here for two nights on the way back to the UK from the South of France. Stephane’s home is absolutely beautiful and peaceful with everything you could need. Everything was perfect and we would love to come back again in the future. We came with our 2.5 year old and there were toys, books, a lovely high chair and cot, and even some armbands for the pool!

prachtig huis en behulpzame eigenaren 😀 - ruime kamers mooi ingericht goede bedden prima badkamers vriendelijke eigenaren die super snel reageren 😞 - de omgeving waar de accommodatie ligt vonden wij wat tegenvallen met twee jonge kinderen. uiteraard veel champagne huizen in de omgeving, maar het plaatsje zelf was weinig tot niks te beleven. wellicht komt dit ook door de periode dat wij er waren (begin november).

Carol and Stephane are wonderful hosts who’s hospitality really made our stay special. They were very quick to respond to all of our questions and the place was very welcoming upon our arrival. The beds are very comfortable, the shower water pressure was excellent and the rooms are much larger that your standard European accommodation. The kitchen is stocked very well, to the point we were able to cook our full Thanksgiving dinner! To top things off, was enjoying the Lombardi champagne with our meals, truly memorable. The first evening,
Stéphane arranged for a Lombardi champagne tasting for my husband and I so we had the opportunity to sample 4 different bottles and they even brought sparkling apple juice for our 13 year old daughter so that she could partake in the tastings like a grownup. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Villa Lombardi to future guests. Thank you so much.

Chouette logement, idéale pour 6 personnes.
La maison est très bien située, refaite à neuf avec bon goût et propose toutes les prestations haut de gamme (conforme à la liste de l’annonce).
La communication est très facile : Stéphane répond très vite aux questions qui lui sont posées.
Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Geweldig huis in de champagnestreek! 😀 - Heerlijk huis, zelfs met heel heet weer beneden nog redelijke temperatuur. Champagneproeverij was top! 😞 - buiten in de tuin lagen er uitwerpselen van katten, dit rook niet prettig. De vaatwasser werkte niet helemaal goed.

De woning is echt prachtig en nieuw. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Er valt echt niets op aan te merken. Communicatie met de eigenaren is ook altijd vriendelijk en gastvrij. Chapeau! Wij hebben als gezin met grotere kinderen genoten van de woning.

Zalig verblijf in Les Riceys! 😀 - Mooi verzorgd huis met alle faciliteiten. We logeerden in de grootste slaapkamer met een grote badkamer, prima! Het ontbijt hadden we aangevraagd, broodjes en croissants (deze waren heel lekker) bakten we verder af in de oven. In de tuin waren er leuke zitplaatsen. 😞 - /

Très bonne prestation conforme à la description. En cas de mauvais temps lors du séjour, la place risque de manquer à l'intérieur pour 6 adultes.

Gîte très agréable à vivre entre amis ou en famille Gîte très agréable, lumineux et très spacieux. Le jardin permet de partager les repas à l'air libre si le beau temps est de la partie. L'endroit est très calme et le village Les Ricey l'est également. Nous avons eu l'occasion de faire quelques sorties VTT, chemins pas très techniques mais attention il y a du dénivelé, le coin est vallonné. Les amateurs de Champagne seront gâtés, de nombreux producteurs aux alentours avec possibilité de visiter les caves (nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu faire les visites compte tenu de la situation sanitaire du moment).

Un lieu idéal pour se ressourcer et découvrir la région. Le logement est propre et bien décoré; il allie le confort d'un hôtel (literie, salle de bain pour chaque chambre, terrasse design, services additionnels à la carte) au caractère intimiste et pratique d'un Airbnb. De plus l'hôte est très réactif et attentionné. Nous avons été très bien accueillis à l'arrivée. Ne pas hésiter!

I can’t praise enough Stephane and Villa Lombardi! From the check-in made with Valerie and her husband that were so kind and accommodating, to the villa itself. It’s a beautifully decorated villa, completely renovated, with all the appliances and amenities one would wish for. Stephane went the extra mile to offer us a very very tasty bottle of his own champagne to welcome us and we’re very grateful for that. It’s a wonderful place and we would be very happy to come back again!

We had a great time, the grocery store and bakery were walking distance from the house. We were received by Jean Michel, a friend of the owner and he gave great tips and arranged a fantastic tour at a local Champagne house in the area. Would definitely recommend!

La maison est parfaitement équipée, tres confortable et tres propre. Nous avons regretté de ne pas être aux beaux jours pour profiter du jardin magnifique. Stephane n'a pas pu nous accueillir mais l'accueil réalisé par ses amis etait parfait et il est resté en contact par mail pour s'assurer du bon deroulement de notre sejour. Un lieu propice au repos et aux découvertes où l'on a envie de retourner.
